I love this jacket and might buy a few more incase TNF ever decides to stop making them (which I really hope not!) Really comfortable and fits sooo well compared to other items that have an odd waist. This keeps me warm in 40 degree weather, and I haven't gotten soaked when wearing in rain for short periods of time. it definitely won't replace a hardy winter coat in terms of warmth or rain jacket, but it's comfortable to wear in the house or stylish enough to wear outside, and seems capable of retaining heat and repelling some water. For colder weather I've been layering a NF fleece underneath, which fits insanely well and is very cozy, cutting out the wind you would feel otherwise. The fabric is very soft inside, and has a good amount of stretch. It's a great jacket hoodie hybrid that is everything I was looking for. Definitely recommend.

You can never go wrong with North Face
My son had a trip planned to Colorado with his church youth group. I had no idea what kind of outerwear he would need. After a few recommendations, I chose this jacket. My son, 14 year old picky boy, was very pleased with the jacket and it turned out to be perfect for the weather they were having the week of his trip. You just can't go wrong with this brand and quality.
