Easily wort the money

Nice unit, especially considering the cost. Easy set up, install and use. Wide range of adapters fit all of the lenses I would ever use for close-up work. I like the idea of left/right brightness control and look forward to playing with that.I used it on one image and it filled the dark recesses of a flower nicely compared to others I shot with just natural light

Flashpoint 72 works great.

My macro photos showed uneven lighting and using a reflector and a white umbrella didn't help. The Flashpoint 72 solved the problem. It works great. I bought the battery pack, charger, charger and cord because AA batteries didn't last very long. I have used the battery pack for some time and the unit shows it is still fully charged.

So far, so good!

Still testing this ring light. It came in this afternoon. So far, the only problem I have had, is with getting the battery compartment to open. Written instructions for the process of getting the battery compartment open, are non-existent. Only after a long perusal of the diagrams provided in the manual, did my wife and I finally figure it out. First off, let me state that there are no "doors" on this unit, even though it looks like there is one on each side of the controller housing. To open/remove the battery compartment, you must push the release button on one side of the side of the unit, and push the compartment toward the OTHER side of the unit. The battery compartment DOES NOT come out on the same side of the unit that the button is on. You must push the button, hold it down, and PUSH the compartment to the other side of the unit. More to come, once I am able to use the ring light. Thought I would get this info out to those who also have one, and are contemplating sending it back.
