Quickie 7.25 in. W Fiber Broom

I've kept one of these whisk brooms in each of my cars for years and years. Because the bristles are very stiff, and the broom is very short, it makes it easy to sweep the car out, and faster than dragging the vacuum cleaner out to the garage or driveway. Taking the floor mat out and shaking off the little pebbles and whatnot that invariably stick to your feet takes care of most of the mess, but this sweeps the balance off the carpet, leaving you with a pretty clean car. It's not as good for getting dog hair off velour car upholstery, but it does alright with that. I also love it for cleaning off the stairs inside the house: sweep from the top step down to the bottom, then vacuum up the pile that accumulates at the lower landing. Much easier than balancing the vacuum cleaner while you try to clean each step. I bought this one because my son took the one out of my car to clean up an oil mess he'd made in the garage while fixing his car, and I didn't want the dirty whisk broom back in my car (he put it in his car trunk, because he liked it that well). Great price for an old-fashioned, highly useful item.
