The batteries fit in both old and new gen controllers, and they come with covers for both, as well as a charging cable that charges them from your Xbox console. They're easy to use, and have great battery life and fast enough charging that you can play indefinitely. The cable is not quite long enough to play while having them plugged in, but that isn't a problem as long as you remember to always have one charged up and ready to go.

No more dead batteries!

Stop buying batteries for your Xbox controllers. This 2 pack (only 1 charging cable) was about as cheap as a good set of AA batteries. They last a long time and when they start to fade, you can either switch them out for the 2nd battery pack (always keep one charged!) or you can plug it in and keep on going! They work in Series X or One. The cover doesn't fit the X model, but that's OK by me. It doesn't affect the functionality.
