It did take some patience to get her to use the breeze system. Well worth the effort. My method was to use pine pellets mixed in with her clay litter. I kept reducing the amount of clay %26 increasing pellet to clay ratio. Kept both her stainless box beside the breeze in my shower. The first time I took her stainless box away for 24 hours she did not pee or poop. So I brought stainless box with pine Pellets back with just a small amount of clay see picture. I then decided to scatter a handful of pine pellets over the clay pellets. That worked!!! With both litter boxes side by side she used the breeze! The poop was on top of clay see pictures. The next time she buried her poop. I rewarded her with a piece of cheddar cheese her favorite treat. I did pour the entire bag of clay pellets (7 lb) that came with the system. I am thrilled with this no smell, lightweight and no clay to stick to bottom of box like the stainless did.
