Purina ONE SmartBlend True Instinct with Real Turkey and Venison Adult Premium Dog Food, 3.8 lb Bag Im quite happy with this food but as the photo shows, my fur-man is even more happy. I have been feeding my service dog Purina One brand for years as this is the best I can afford. I feel the ingredients work for him and until I can afford Blue; will continue to feed him Purina. In particular, upon receiving this SmartBlend True Instinct with Real Turkey & Venison was exciting. It comes in a foil lined bag for freshness and includes an expiration date on the bag of the bag. I allowed my pup to smell the bag prior to opening to get an idea if he'd like it or not. Its out little ritual. He went fruitloops. As shown, this food shows the real chunks of meat. I mixed his first serving with his other Purina food and he woofed it down. I mixed more food in with a bit of warm water which created a nice gravy and he loved this more. Either way; this is my best friends favorite food which I will continue to purchase for him. The results are ONE Happy Baby and I couldn't ask for more! Rebel gives this food 10 *

We received our bag of Purina One Smartblend, True instinct with real turkey and venison and I opened it up and poured some into my dogs bowl. The first thing I noticed is the meaty morsels mixed into the dry food triangles. It is real turkey and venison and it looks like little pieces of jerky. The food is pretty hardy with the meat and the dry mixed in together. I also noticed that the food doesn’t smell badly or have a very strong odor like a lot of dog food out there. My dog Bella was immediately wiggling around and wagging her little stubby tail as I poured and examined the food. When I put the food down she immediately chowed down and continued to be excited like she does when she occasionally gets canned wet dog food. So, in Bella’s opinion she was getting a treat! I took a few pictures of her chowing down and enjoying herself. I read the bag and I am pleased to see that it is indeed real meat bits and has 4 antioxidant sources and includes “nutrient dense” foods. I believe it is really important what food I put into my dog. She is a Border Collie/Mcnab mix and she is very high energy and active and I love her dearly. I usually feed her a high priced dog food that you purchase at the vets office and this looks as high quality as that, if not more! She definitely seems to like it more than her usual food and again acted like she was getting a treat. I really believe the lack of stink of this food is saying a lot, it smells like actual food and not like chemicals. I would feed this to my dog full time and I recommend it for any dog parents out there.
