If you find that your dog is losing weight or becomes overweight when fed these amounts, please adjust accordingly. To help your dog maintain an ideal body condition, monitor your dog's weight on a regular basis, making sure that his ribs are easily felt and the waist is visible when viewed from above. Maintaining an ideal body condition can impact your dog's lifelong health. It's Not for All Dogs: Purina ONE True Instinct formula is specifically formulated for adult dogs. If you have a puppy, or a pregnant or nursing dog, feed Purina ONE SmartBlend Healthy Puppy Formula. Fresh Water, Proper Diet & Veterinary Care: Be sure to provide fresh water in a clean container for your dog daily. My dog absolutely LOVES this food. We call it her “wolf food” lol. She loves it. She is typically a grazing eater and a bowl of food will last anywhere from a whole day to 2-3 days just munching when needed. She gobbles this food to the point that we actually have to portion it and feed only when she needs it. The only food she will do this with!
