Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina ONE until you're feeding Purina ONE exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Adult Cat Feeding Instructions Fill your cat's bowl with the recommended measured amount every morning and allow your cat to eat on a "free choice" basis throughout the day, rather than as a single feeding at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain an ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Monitor your cat's weight, and adjust food amount accordingly. Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts For 5—6 lbs. (2.3—4.1kg) cats, feed 1/3—3/4 cup (35—75g) For 10—14 lbs. In 20 years of male cats in 3 family households (males are more prone to crystal blockages) all the cats (28) on Pur-one.urinary tract, only 1 died from blockage because the vet demanded to put 1 male on Hill's Science diet weight control. In less than 6 weeks, when I came home from back surgery with 2 days in a hospital and my cat on HSD had to be rushed to the emergency vet. Nearly $1,000 for tests and putting the cat to sleep because of Blockage. All my cats have and will remain on Pur-one UT.

I have a couple of cats that have urinary problems. I tried the more expensive brand from Petco, and one cat ended up in the veterinarian clinic. Im sure the more expensive works for some, but my cats have no issues with this specific cat food. I feed all my cats this food! I highly recommend!
