FEEDING ADULT DOGS: The recommended feeding amounts are based on using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 102 g of Beneful IncrediBITES With Farm-Raised Beef. Most adult dogs can be fed once daily. However, when high activity or other factors create a higher feed intake, twice-a-day feeding is recommended. Dogs should be maintained in ideal body condition and not be allowed to become overweight. The food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Consequently, the amount of food required for each dog will vary and should be adjusted accordingly. The daily feeding amount can be divided into 2 - 3 smaller servings throughout the day.; FEEDING TIP: When switching your dog to Beneful IncrediBITES dog food, please allow 7 - 10 days for the transition. Our dog loves it
We just adopted a Maltese, and it was the food the shelter person was feeding her. Small dogs can be extraordinarily finicky, so finding food the dog will eat is vital. Well, It's half the price of Purina One, and she seems to love Beneful so no reason to change or go "premium". I learned a long time ago that switching foods to save a buck, or because "you" think the food will be better for your dog, can be a big mistake. Bottom line, she enjoys Beneful by itself, no people food! That's a huge win.
