I have 5 adult dogs that all eat this brand of Purina dog food. 4 of them as soon as weaned from puppy food, and one that had skin allergies prior to swithching that are no more. The oldest is 11 years old and the youngest is 14 months old. My vet has stated for years that my babies are some healthy kids. I don't see recalls on this food like other brands either. In my opion if they like it and are healthy as well with it then why change to more pricey brands.

Seems To Be A Better Fit For Our Dogs

We were buying a different Purina Dog food but noticed the dogs scratching and paw /foreleg licking. Allergies! A pet shop owner advised the artificial flavors and dyes were the cause. Our dogs are still adapting since we have to introduce the more natural Beneful slowly but the scratching and licking is not as severe.
