Well I be dawg gone! No wait she's still with us! My Lil dawg a "Cheatle" a beagle and chihuahua mix loves ❤️ these. These treats are softer I'd say about 1 to 10 ..and 10 being hard these are a 4. They are sort of chewy(no I haven't eaten 1) this is observation only. These treats are not even close to a chewy dental work out like some treats. My Lil girl "Tiny" is 12 years old. She's lost a few teeth over the years.She has a ferocious bark for a 12 pound dog. However her bite is long gone. She struggles and gives up on most treats that are hard. Tiny loves these treats and she most certainly by the "WAG" shows her preference to this treat. When the real pepperoni isn't avalible she will settle for this great substitute. If your dog is moving up in years this is a excellent way for you to offer a token of the love you have for your faithful friend.
