They replaced the spray tip!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They listened to the reviews! Thank goodness. The old spray tip would sputter after using about half the can, but they replaced the spray tip with a new one. It has the adjustable fan, as well as the soft press top. The lacquer is of the softer side, but it blends into itself so well that scratches and things are easily repaired. With this new spray tip, ease of use and especially the affordable price- in my opinion, this is the best nitrocellulose aerosol spray lacquer for consumer purchase.

ProLuxe is NOT Deft

I've been using Deft for 42 years. I specifically used the spray can version on all my small projects to avoid having to clean my spray gun. It always gave me beautiful finishes. The nozzle on ProLuxe sucks. I ruined the finish on an antique I sprayed using ProLuxe yesterday. PPG needs to go back to the original nozzle. I am currently looking for a replacement for ProLuxe.

Terrible new packaging, questionable spray result

Wow I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing, but I have had great results with the old Deft product to figured this would be equal or better. First off the cap is impossible to get off with a screw driver and I ended up having to destroy it with pliers. I was prying hard with the screw driver and feared puncturing the can. Second the spray pattern and velocity makes it difficult to use without getting orange peel. I studied packaging science and have 30 years of industry experience. This is a fail, needs a lot of improvement to even be safe
