I had a light for 30 years that was beveled glass, and very hard to clean. I was looking for something a little more modern, but not too modern for my dining room area. This light fit in perfectly. I love the darker bronze accent, the latter linen, light shade, and the quality and the effort that it takes to maintain is very easy just dust the shade and wipe off the five candlelight bulbs. I like the fact that it's dimmable. It's perfect in a room that's mostly traditional with some modern touches. Highly recommended.
