I use this all the time to remove adhesives
I have been a Goo Gone user for a few years now. This stuff is great for label removing, almost any adhesive will give way and release....if you give it time to work. It is quite viscous and thin, go gentle on pouring it out (there is a pin size hole in the original seal that is totally adequate to control dispensing). Instantly removes Sharpie Marker from objects and can restore rattle can spray nozzles. Goof Off may be better/faster but it can also damage items...Goo Gone hasn't ruined any of my stuff.

This stuff has helped me to get the yellow after math of years ago previous tenant using tape to try the winterization in this bungalow. So go get some and keep it close by. I m keeping it close so when I do the attempt at fighting the winter sting, I will be able to get that nasty residue off all the window sills . Just be careful because the smell is terrible, try not to breathe those fumes , that's the only drawback,
