Marie Callendar's mutli berry pie, unlike other brand fruit pies, is piled high berries with full berry flavor, juicy, not cloyingly sweet and hint of natural berry tartness to remind that it definitely is a genuine berry filled pie without the usual gelatinous like fillers other pie makers use. To achieve a bottom crust to look as golden brown as the top crust, toward latter half of the baking time, lower the temperature by five degrees and bake longer by 5 to no more than ten degrees. Personally, I hate seeing a pasty white and often dough gummy bottom crust on any pie.
