Quality rtr boat

Very solid boat runs great whether you run 4 or 6 s would I like to see larger water cooling hose and a better collect and shaft both work but are kind of crude and Proboat could improve on them. No real problems with boat but must say that you should wax boat before using my buddie has had clear coat coming off from taping hatch. Also you should add some extra floatation foam up both sides of sponsons to prevent boat from sinking yes it will sink. Had a bad crash and broadsided my buddies boat and it would have sank if my boat wasn't stuck in the side of his . Overall great rtr boat will run 59 mph out of box on 6s with x 642 prop fastest we have gotten on stock motor and esc be careful if you attempt this because you will be running very high temps and it will fry motor and possibly the esc . Lastly if your looking for good boat to blast around your local pond can't beat it I have 2 and love them both Horizon Hobby has great customer service you won't be disappointed.

PROBOAT BLACKJACK 29

So I see there has been some changes , even from the pictures here...First off its one of the nicest boats I have seen ..The finish is great and the graphics are slightly different from previous models ..There is no Tupperware top any more but there is a foam strip like seen in the Miss Gieco version pics ..And speaking of the Gieco version , this boat is a copy of that boat based on the pics here on this site..Including the black rudder..not silver..Which I prefer ..And the foam strip which I mentioned..Some other upgrades , electronics wise but are displayed here ..And the location of the antenna..On the side not the back..The one thing that erks me though is there is no stand..Wasnt the best design anyways but now I need to make one ..Look forward to getting this out on the water and even better , Doing more business with Horizon Hobbies..Blown away by the speed of delivery..and overall customer service..5 stars all the way

BJ 29 V3 rocks

Mine, came with black offset rudder setup rather than the metal looked pictured. The black looks much better on this boat.1st run with 4S , I was really surprised how fast it was even on 4S pack. Love the new hull design being all fiberglass this looks like it will hold up for a long while. Engine and ECS was only a little warm. The new ESC was a big improvement over the V2, but I will probably upgrade to a 180 ESC and make a few other changes. The new cowl design did not seem to fit as good as it could. This is probably due to the new foam type gasket around the cowl opening. Mine was missing the antennae tube and end cap which while not a big deal, was a little disappointing for an RTR of this price. Overall, the new V3 is a great RTR boat which while not perfect (could use a 180 ESC and different engine) it is a great boat at this price point.
