I've used a lot of different primers while refinishing furniture, and cabinetry. This is, hands-down, the best! It even covers up walls with Nicotine stains with no bleed through. How do I know this? Good question. We were renovating a house and every primer we used kept letting the walls bleed through. This is even after we scrubedthe walls with TSP. Long story short… I tried the Zinsser BIN primer that I typically use to refinish furniture and it worked perfectly! Same principle. When refinishing furniture, knots will bleed through with other primers, but not the Zinsser BIN primer.
