Instructions
Baking Directions: Do not prepare in microwave or toaster oven. 1. Preheat oven to 375F. Remove plastic wrapper from pie. 2. Bake pie on cookie sheet in center of oven 70 to 80 minutes. Pie is fully baked when knife inserted in the center comes out clean, outside edge of filling is firm and center is slightly domed. Carefully remove as product will be hot. 3. Check that pie is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots. 4. Let cool. Pie will slice and serve most easily when cooled at least 2 hours. Marie's Baking Tip: If edges of pie begin to brown excessively, cover edges with a strip of aluminum foil and continue baking.

I heated oven to 375°, then turned it down to 350,° I cooked the pie for about 15 minutes, then put aluminum foil on the crust ONLY, cause I didn't want hard crust,then cooked an additional 25 minutes...it came out perfect!! I didn't need to cook it for 60 minutes as it called for or it would of been burnt!!

Tasty frozen pumpkin pie
The Marie Callander pumpkin pie was extremely tasty. The crust was so flaky that people were using their forks to get every last bite. It was easy to bake and was a huge hit. Although Thanksgiving is getting close, it doesn't hurt to have a taste of it a little bit early. The family prefers it warm with whipped cream, however it's also delicious cold! I know, because I ate the last slice for breakfast! Shhhhh.

I purchased this pie for Thanksgiving to have something a little quicker due to my husband having knee surgery and I just didn't have the time to make it homemade (which I usually do). Everyone kept complimenting how tasty it was and they just couldn't believe I had the time to make it homemade. That's when I told them it wasn't homemade. It was Marie Callender's.
