This is a cool learning toy

Time to build: 6 hours. Ease of instructions: 8/10 Some pictures were hard to interpret. Make sure you use the instructions! Ease of actual build 8/10 Some nuts were hard to in place. Quality of parts and final build 9/10. Any higher an it would need to be a tank. Overall this is a great parent/child build. I mean boys or girls. Do not let the size and complexity overwhelm you. Take each step one by one and it will go well. Try to separate all the parts in cups. It makes finding the right size bolt very easy. After everything is together go back through and ensure each bolt is tight. My kid is now trying to find out what it can do. I recommend for advanced 7 to 8 yo kids but definitely after 9 is good.

Do not purchase this for a child. Purchased for an adult for a hobby. Lots and lots of parts and screws. Will not be quick to assemble but is great for someone with a long attention span and attention to detail. Will be awesome to play around with once he's built.

I have always had an interest in robotics, but never saw any kit with the voice recognition and the ability to program. This kit was perfect, educational and fun to build. Would be nice to have a greater ability to allow additional programming, but great starter.
