(Price/Pair)Tingley 1800 Dress Rubber Overshoe - Trim-XL

I just got these and wanted to share how they fit. I go through ariats (size 10) every 6-8 months because the soles come apart and I wanted something to work over them. The medium size fits great over my ariats size 10. I hope they ride as well as they fit!

So I used Tingley's religiously on my paddock boots, I worked all day at the barn throughout the year and went through paddocks boots too often to throw down so much money on them every year. I discovered these and it was much more easily justified buying a new pair of them every spring rather than a new pair of paddock boots. Though my boots didn't remain 100% in tact (probably because I rarely ever pulled the covers off to clean what got underneath them..oops) they worked really well and I never had a problem with my feet getting wet or anything of the sort. So this is where is starts getting confusing. The first two times I purchased these they ran too small, I am a size 8.5 shoe and was wearing either a large or extra large (they both fit but the large was a pain in the butt to pull on). The last time I purchased these they came in a different box and looked as if they had been redesigned. This time they ran way to big (even a small was too big on my 8.5). I spoke to someone who said it was probably the men's sized ones and that the other ones I bought were women's however, to my knowledge they're the only ones Smartpak carries. Not only that but the boxes were never labeled by the company as men's/women's sizes (perhaps Smartpak or Tingley's could give us some clarity as to what the situation is with these). In the end, I exchanged my mediums for smalls, and returned the smalls (thank you Smartpak for your wonderful customer service) and my current paddock boots are left with my old ratty covers on the verge of a break down (luckily I'm away at school for now and I'm not riding so much). So overall, I give this product 4 stars because, yes they are a great product (if they fit your feet) and I would (and do) recommend them to anyone (if they fit your feet).
