Didn't work out of the box
Unlike other universal adapters, the tip polarity is on the base, but, there are still +/- markings on the tip. The tip can only fit into the plug one way, though, since one peg is thicker than the other, so something doesn't make sense. I assumed that I needed to insert the tip the only way it would fit and set the polarity on the base. The tip that fit my device didn't work. I have many other tips from past universal adapters, so I used one of those tips (that I know works with device), and it still didn't work. The power light comes on, but I couldn't get any power to the device that I need to use this with, so I returned it. I did not check the usb or any other devices/tips since I bought this for a specific purpose.
