Love it for my camera display storage!
I didn't use these for shoes. I bought them to display my cameras (I collect them). I just stacked 2 of these on top of each other. They are very sturdy and beautiful. They would be great for their intended purpose too. Also, all screws/parts line up perfectly at every step of the building process which was awesome too.

I really like the layout to hold a quarter of my wife's shoes. I also like that is was made in the USA. The driftwood color gives it a rich look. It is very heavy. The only complaint is during assembly I could not see any labels on the pieces, but there is very good pictures.
