Much better than plastic. The seals are tight keeping air out and liquid in. I never make a single meal now, always make enough to freeze two additional meals. Helps me to eat healthier. Less fast food orders. Goes from freezer to microwave. They are a bit heavy.

This set is great. I ordered one for myself and after it arrived and I started using it, I ordered another one for short-term rental. I didn't like what I have been reading about plastics in food and fish and just decided to get replace them; plus, they don't do dishwasher. This set is solid glass, while I do not put the lids in the dishwasher, they are easy to clean. The seal is great, the lid clips are easy, it's very good looking. What's not to love. Great quality.

Quality. Heavy glass tricompartment bottom , plastic lid with good seal. These are not for wet food items. Fluid could spill over into other components.
