Nature's Bounty Flaxseed Oil Softgels, 1200 Mg, 125 Ct

They do the job as far as helping "dry eye," but OMG, they are horse pills (capsules)! I have to take them separately from my other pills. But Costco isn't carrying Nature Made Flaxseed anymore, so I had to find something else.

I've been taking flaxseed oil capsules for a while now...I inadvertently found out that flaxseed is known to have healing properties...I'm not making any claims just giving my own experience... I had to have a crown replaced in January because of some decay found and unfortunately I had to also have a root canal for the same tooth. My dentist had to do a bit of gum clean up and thought I would be very sensitive in that area so the crown and root canal were done over a few appointments. When I went back in after he initially cleaned up my gums, he couldn't believe how well my gums had healed (I had been taking the flaxseed oil capsules for a few months prior to that) and so one day I had been online and I wondered if the flaxseed had anything to do with my gums healing so well and sure enough there was info online stating that it's good for periodontal health and bleeding gums etc...The alpha-linolenic acid and related chemicals in flaxseed oil seem to decrease inflammation. The next time I went into the dentist I relayed that info that I read online about the flaxseed oil simply because he was astounded at how well my gums were healing....my next few appointments went well and the area healed up quite nicely...
