In clinical studies of mostly white women aged 18-45 years with mild to moderate degrees of hair loss, the following response to 2% minoxidil topical solution was reported: 19% of women reported moderate hair regrowth after using 2% minoxidil topical solution for 8 months (19% had moderate regrowth; 40% had minimal regrowth). This compares with 7% of women reporting moderate hair regrowth after using the placebo, the liquid without minoxidil in it, for 8 months (7% had moderate regrowth; 33% had minimal regrowth).

My love affair with Rogaine
It must be 20 years or so since I first used Rogaine. Needless to say, it works for me. It started with two small areas on my temples that filled in when I began using it. A few years later I stopped for a few months, and when my hair started falling out at an alarming rate I began again. My hair has been much fuller since. I like the liquid, and it works best when I massage it into my scalp.

Absolutely WORKS for me!
I use the drops of Rogaine because I find it to be easier, more direct application of the product to the scalp, and it is less messy on my hair. To be clear, there is still some sticky residue that clings to the hair shafts, but a lot less goo to deal with compared to the foam product. I am honestly not nuts about having to do this, but ever since chemo therapy took all of my hair, I have had difficulty with regrowing the top. Using Rogaine takes time for results to show, but it absolutely does work. This has been the ONLY product that works for me.
