Budget Razor

Nearly identical to my Vortex Razor Gen 2E 1-6x24 in MRAD. Only things that I can tell are different between this and the Razor is: the color of the scope body, the number of brightness settings (Viper has 10; Razor has 11), the edge clarity (which is slightly nicer in the Razor), and the price. For about 1/3 of the price, this Viper is about on par with everything the Razor Gen 2E offers. Also, super fast shipping by Focus Camera. I had never heard of this site before and I ordered and received my scope in about 1 day, really impressed.

Excellent scope for long range shooting or hunting

I have 3 of the gen2 pst now. I have been very happy with the scopes. Glass quality is excellent. I have had several nightforce nxs and glass is just as good on the viper pst. No black ring at higher power on the scope. Very bright and crisp sight picture completely threw the power settings. Windage and elevation adjustments are very solid positive clicks. Zero stop is a true stop. When it's set it's there. Easy to set the zero stop as well. Tracking is spot on every time. Holds zero and will return back to zero. Ret is set up for quick hold overs with out turret spinning if you prefer. Nice and fine ret lines for extremely fine work. But yet not to fine that you loose it while hunting in low light periods. Parallax adjustment is right on the money with the etched yardages on the knob. Excellent eye relief for the hard hitting magnum caliber shooters. Only issue I have with the viper pst gen2 is when your out in really cold weather the power selector ring is really stiff to turn. That's my only complaint. I'm very picky when it comes to my rifles and optics. Or any of my hunting equipment. I don't like problems or failure with equipment. And I have not had any issues like I did with Nikon black1000 or leupold. Plus the no bs warranty dose help ease the mind if something ever did happen. Yes Nikon and leupold has a lifetime warranty as well. But I don't want to spend a life time changing scopes out. I will be buying a few more pst gen2s. Know for sportsmans guide. What an excellent company. Excellent service and the 4 pay plan is awesome. I'm disabled so the 4 pay is just a great plan and allows me to get the equipment I need or want. So thank you sportsmans guide for having a great company.

Awesome Scope

Installed this scope on a 6.5 PRC bolt rifle. Zeroed at 200 yards and so far been deadly accurate out to 400 yards. The glass on this scope is perfectly clear. Zero stop on elevation turret is spot on. Turret clicks are audible and firm. Reticle is not too busy and the illumination is bright enough to run anytime of day.
