Tripp Lite PS6020 60-inch 20-Outlet Vertical 120-Volt Power Strip, 15-Foot Cord

I mounted the product on the rear of my workbench. It allows me to plug in all my needs and have an easy switch to turn the entire strip on or off. I would purchase another should the need arise. My wish for a future product would be the same size and type but have every other socket colored red and unswitched for those plugins you don't want controlled by the main power switch.

Though these are not specifically made for rack-mounted equipment, I have bought several of these for vertical mounting within the enclosures. They are well constructed, have a tight receptacle interval (approx 3-inch), and are quick to mount with the included clips. Since the clips hold the strip away from the surface to which it is mounted, there is plenty of room to thread a tie-wrap to secure transformers (power bricks, wall warts) to it. Other niceties: The mounting clips are easily affixed to rear rails, if your rack is so equipped; the attached power cords are quite long, so extension cords are typically unnecessary; there is a small cap over the power switch to prevent accidental shut-off.
