Using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 96 g of Pro Plan. We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Fergus was started on on purina pro plan as a puppy and we have continued with it he is our third golden so keeping his bones sound and keeping his coat in good condition is a must the bad thing he does get bored with the taste so I need to add flavor to it sometimes

Definitely get for your Senior Dog!!

I was buying a probiotic separately for my girl Bella and I saw this was included in the food, so i thought I would try it. She absolutely loved it. So much when I went to reorder it was out of stock so i had to buy a small bag of her old food and she refused to eat it. I thought oh boy Mama you have created a Diva lol. So if that doesn't tell you it's good. Bella is 13 years old and I rescued her and I will do whatever she needs or wants she has been the best friend I could have ever asked for.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This food contains no barley - game changer for my dogs. They almost don't chew. They love it so much a nice change when you have finicky pets.. I've used it for years now and will continue to do so as long as they keep it barley free..
