I must confess, i really thought this soft tolid seat was going to be hard flat %26 cheap plastic . So color me pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be fantastic. The seat is firm, but soft %26 not flat at all. It stays in place, when you sit on it %26 the lid lowers gently to close. I definitely give it 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ YES, this is a great deal. The price is great %26 the product exceeds expectations. Will buy again.

Sturdy, firm, comfortable padding, easy to install

This seems to be a very sturdy, well-made seat. It included illustrated instructions and was quite easy to install. It's heavy, and the quick-release hinges are great. I appreciate the soft-close feature on the seat and the lid. The padding is firm, but comfortable. The hinges are made of heavy-duty plastic. It includes rubber grommets to ensure that the bolts remain in place after tightening, so it shouldn't loosen and shift. I need a padded seat due to severe weight loss (100 lbs), so I don't have the "padding" on my backside that I used to, and the standard plastic seat that came with the toilet had become quite uncomfortable. I was so happy to see that Walmart carried this item, and it was delivered in one day. Very happy with my purchase.
