Chalk for aging model trains and structures.

I use these chalks to "weather" my 1/87 scale railroad structures and rail cars to simulate dirt, rust, grease and oil stains with a small paint brush to mix dusts for the right look and apply to areas to add realism to the items. These work great for that effect and a clear coat seals the results.

These are so cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got these roughly a month ago, as I'm telling you this please note my daughter is an outside, chalk drawing, swinging, running, bubble playing 5 year old. A rainy day will spoil her mood instantly. These Ambrite Paper Chalks were PERFECT! WE COLORED ON PAPER, BOXES, EVEN THOSE HUGE PIECES OF PAPER. I'm so proud of her she even started using them like acrylics and brushing the chalk for cool effects. She's 5! I love creativity this sparks and the fun it brings to boring. 4.

Bright Beautiful Colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I opened the box to the paper chalk, I noticed how bright and vibrant they were. I first picked the yellow chalk to work with, and it was so easy to glide across the paper and color with. I was amazed at the ease and brightness of the color. I ended up using all the colors to see how well they worked with each other including the white color. It helped bring out a tint in the darker colors like black. I had my children play around with the chalk as well, they just loved drawing on everything. The best part about this chalk is that it is easy to wash off everything. It took two seconds to rinse of my hands and my kids hands with just soup and warm water. The only downside I see is that they break easily, but that does not take away from the fun that my kids and I had.
