This is a beautiful well made doll and I am so excited for it to be my daughter's first doll. Growing up, I never had dolls that looked anything like me. With that in mind, I wanted to find a doll that looked like my daughter as that was important to me. Surprisingly, I had a hard time finding a curly haired medium skin tone Indian looking doll and was about to give up when I found this doll/brand. Ashanti is beautiful, her hair is soft and will definitely be so fun for my daughter to wash/style. I'll be gifting this to other little girls with curly hair whenever an opportunity arises
