This item is perfect as a standalone, or as an addition to the Polly Pocket party house. We bought one to keep, and one to give as a gift. I was surprised by how large the box is for the number of pieces included; this gives it a lot of "wow" factor as a gift for a young child if given in person (but this is also important to know if you need to mail the present yourself - it will cost you $$$ because although lightweight, it's huge). I appreciate that it comes with so many dolls - makes it more playable for a family with multiple children or group of friends.
