The PA D4000.4 amplifier is capable of bridging two full-range channels into a single full range channel with higher output power. For instance, one front and one rear channel will increase the output power from 125W per channel to 400W per channel (for a 4 ohm load). The most common hookups for the PA D4000.4 would be four full-range channels, two full-range channels and a bridged sub, or two bridged subwoofers.

I just bought this amp to replace the other brand, which was larger and less powerful. I'm running four Polk 6x9 MM series speakers in my truck and let me say... wow! The sound is very clear, but not harsh. How an amp can produce nearly three times the power in a smaller size is amazing. This amp also completely eliminated a ground loop noise that other amps had.

I have one of these in my truck powering two tens, and I'm thrilled with the power and the small packaging. If clarity is your main concern, these series of amps are the ticket for you.

I have this amp in my saddlebag-2007 Street Glide-pushing 2 sets of MM525s {2 drivers and a tweeter per bag} and a set of MM625s in the fairing. UNREAL!! Now for the sub...
