Setup is relatively easy. Pop it in, configure network and account settings, configure alerts, leave it be.

Device Limited Without Browser

The card requires using the web browser for most things it allows control of. This is particularly frustrating with inability to turn on and off outlets using any other communication method. This becomes a major unnecessary hurdle when writing automation software for the connected UPS. It also brings to mind the question of why they bothered adding the ability to connect via ssh and telnet. It still should be usable for the intended purpose with this limitation. I would like to thank the support team for helping clarify the capabilities though.

Thank you for the feedback. While it is true that TLNETCARD has limited telnet/SSH functionality, it also supports SNMP. Given the use case of turning on/off outlets via software-based automation, one suggestion would be to use SNMP Gets and Sets; TLNETCARD leverages the same MIB as SNMPWEBCARD, which is downloadable at https://www.tripplite.com/support/model/mid/SNMPWEBCARD. On that page, the MIB can be found in the "Software, Firmware and Drivers" section.
