Makes 6 (1/2-cup) servings. Refrigerate any leftovers.Fat-free, 1% or lactose-free milk can also be used but may result in a softer set. Do not use prepared nonfat dry milk or soy milk - pudding will not set. For creamier pudding, place plastic wrap directly on surface of pudding while cooling. Stir before serving.Microwave Directions:Stir mix into 3 cups milk in medium microwaveable bowl.Microwave on high 8 min. or until mixture comes to boil, stirring every 2 min.Serve warm or chilled. (Pudding thickens as it cools).Microwave ovens vary; Cooking time is approximate.Classic pudding pie:Makes 8 servings.Prepare pudding as directed. This is very tasty, has been consistent in quality for many years. However of late it seems to be a bit downsized. My wife brings whole milk to barely a boil before she mixes it. This may be a bit of a cooking art. I would be careful to both use whole milk and not to let it boil for long.
