[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size is perfect and the feel in the hand is great. The camera is top notch, but the shutter speed is a little slower than I thought. It's speedy and smooth when operating it. No lag. It charges at a decent rate, but coming from a OnePlus phone to this, I had to get used to waiting a little longer for a full charge. Battery life is the worst part about the phone, but that's due to the size of it, which is expected. I can usually get through a day if I have it on power saving mode. Other than that, it's your standard Samsung experience.

Miss some old features

It has definitely upgraded the camera to something way better like night mode and the zoom to see the moon; I love that. Everything else is as good as it was except the biggest downside and the highest annoyance; they took away the led indicator to show that he have a text waiting. It will flash once received but if you weren't on your phone or couldn't hear the notification, then there is no repeated light signal to show you have something waiting to be seen. That's a major flaw when you work in a noisy factory. I can not longer glance at my closed screen to see if there's an important response to a text for me, I literally have to unlock the screen to see a tiny notification icon at the top of the screen. Camera flash does me no good as it only flashes the one time when you receive a text and I don't tend to put my phone face down as it will scratch the screen. So for all the updates, then taking that one thing away aggravated me the most and makes me miss my S8+.

Put it back, please?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall functionality of the S22 5G it great for the most part. The only thing I do not enjoy is that fact that Samsung has decided to become more like Apple, in the sense of doing away with external storage space. I have a 256 gb S22 5G. In my S20 5G, my external storage alone was 256 gb. I do NOT like, nor subscribe to streaming services. I keep entire "albums" as far as music on my phone. As well as exercise programs with videos and the like. Now, I have to make sure that I do not "bloat" my device so as to not "slug" my OS. Could you PLEASE put back the external storage?
