If your not getting into the tight spaces like I have been battling while soldering, get this device. The hose assembly makes you a PRO instantly..... well let's be optimistic here. This torch will improve you soldering game dramatically. For me getting in walls between studs with this device makes the biggest difference of mobility verses the tank to tip device set up. I've owned three of these torches. The first two were so good, they walked off the job. The hose is a blessing because most of the work I do is inside walls and on old work. Not having the bottle attached directly to the torch reduces fatigue, allows me to work in tight areas, and for the first several years of use the igniter was very reliable. I don't like piezoelectric igniters in general because it will occasionally take multiple trigger pulls to igniter the gas, so a battery powered igniter would be amazing. Especially for high altitude work. I can't speak to the holster because it went in the trash on the first day. I have yet to do a job where a bottle holster would've made the job easier or more convenient. On a few occasions I've stuck the gas bottle in my pocket, which is good enough for five minutes of soldering up high. Overall an excellent tool that's far superior in quality, and lower in price than its competitors. I highly recommend.
