Yes u do have to understand most not all (u can catch a good sale) the time you get what you pay for so if you only have a few an catch them before they get infested this will work just fine especially if there inside cats, in my case i have 2 that are but i foster cats a few times a year and we got a bay and looked well takin care of but almost got hit HALLOWEEN night on a very busy 4 way street so we have flyers out and "Humane Ohio" are involved trying to find this lil guys home (the tiny Tiger in the pic) so it was an urgent and just in case purchase (i haven't de-flead mine yet) and they are very soft and playful but most of all NO SCRATCHING :) so unless you know you have them bad this shud do the tick my cats however did not like me putting this on them but not for long, shaved me money, thank you Walmart i thought i was going to pay way more these days Good Job 👍
