This shampoo doesnt have a strong smell, if anything its very vague which is great for animals with allergies. My cat didnt have any reaction to this shampoo and it made his coat soft and shiny. I do recommend if you are looking for something with a soft smell just to get your cat clean without a bunch of harsh items.

My cat is fluffy and the only shampoo my groomer has smells like marshmallows, so she says, and is very strong. We could smell my cat coming for days afterward and she was so unhappy. I bought this to hopefully make it a more pleasant experience and I have to say we are both in love. She is gorgeous (as usual) and her hair is more shiny and all of her colors pop more. There is a smell to the shampoo, but its very light and doesnt smell like chemicals.
