I have very bad tasting water at my house so getting a filter was a must. I grew up on RO water and worked installing water systems for a while. while this filter isnt as good as an RO system it is 95% there and way cheaper and easy to install. This filter dropped my PPM in my water from 380ish to less than 10 for the first few months. if you go past their suggested change intervals (6 months) it continues to remove most of the bad taste in the water but the PPM rises up. My filter after 15 months of use was over 100 ppm and the bad taste was starting to come back. (why i ordered this replacement)
