Diverter broke off after two weeks of use.

The diverter seems to very weak. Pulling up on diverter causes it to slip out of the plastic holding the rubber washer. Rubber washer went straight down the drain on the 4 time time putting the thing back to getter so my wife could shower.

Weak Diverter

Bought this a few months ago and when turned on water comes out of both showerhead and tub. Once I pull diverter on tub spout it still comes out of the spout. Nothing seems to fix it other than maybe a rebuild kit but I cannot find it online and should not have to pay to fix what seems to be a fault on Moen's end.

Hello Chris and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Moen website. We are sorry to hear that after installing the Moen UT2473 when you run water out of the tub spout you also have water coming out of the showerhead. What you have described is a condition referred to as “stacking”. This condition can best be described as the water leaving the tub spout is not able to get out of the spout fast enough that the water begins to back-up behind the wall. The only place for the water to back-up, is up the shower pipe and out the showerhead.
