Instructions
Baking Directions: Do not prepare in microwave or toaster oven. 1. Preheat oven to 375F. Remove plastic wrapper from pie. 2. Bake pie on cookie sheet in center of oven 70 to 80 minutes. Pie is fully baked when knife inserted in the center comes out clean, outside edge of filling is firm and center is slightly domed. Carefully remove as product will be hot. 3. Check that pie is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots. 4. Let cool. Pie will slice and serve most easily when cooled at least 2 hours. Marie's Baking Tip: If edges of pie begin to brown excessively, cover edges with a strip of aluminum foil and continue baking.

I heated oven to 375°, then turned it down to 350,° I cooked the pie for about 15 minutes, then put aluminum foil on the crust ONLY, cause I didn't want hard crust,then cooked an additional 25 minutes...it came out perfect!! I didn't need to cook it for 60 minutes as it called for or it would of been burnt!!

This pie was easy to bake, instructions were clear and things happened as explained. If I had seen the middle of the pie rise, I would've thought it was a bubble and been concerned. Marie Callender's Pumpkin Pie is my new "go to" for Thanksgiving dinner. I just don't have time to bake from scratch anymore and this pie is so good I don't feel bad about not having the time. Just leave it in the freezer until you are ready to bake and it bakes up perfectly. The filling is delicious! It is thick and creamy and spiced just right. Marie Callender's is a brand I always trust to taste good and this pie did not disappoint.
