Most Reliable and Healthy Fiber Option
I have used Metamucil Fiber Thins for over 30 yrs. This product not only works well to help keep your colon from developing polyps; it is also a wonderful and healthy way to help with appetite control. Eat one wafer 30 minutes before a meal with a glass of water and it will curb your appetite by making you feel full AND provide the necessary fiber you may not be getting while dieting. I have tried the capsules, powder and wafers. The wafers are my favorite. The powder is good in orange juice and the wafers are very good when dipped into a cup of your favorite tea. The tea makes the wafers soft and chewy, like a cookie. If traveling, the capsules are a convenient way to stay on track as you don't need to dunk or stir them into anything. All you need is a glass of your favorite liquid; but water is best. I just don't find them as reliable as the powder or wafers. My whole family has used these for decades. I highly recommend them.

a game changer and a life saver
years ago i had hemmoroid and fissure removal surgery- it was excruciating to say the least- then years later i developed polyps and had a portion of my colon removed and have had problems ever since in that area-the pain associated with it is horrendous- the metamucil wafers have been a life changer for me- the secret is to take it whether you think you need it or not and to drink plenty of water with it on a daily basis - it makes my life a whole lot easier and i am thankful to be able to find them at walmart at a decent price that i can afford- i do a lot of praying in the bathroom thanking GOD every time i am able to go potty with no pain- if you have never had these problems you cannot imagine how it takes over your whole world- thank you walmart for making metamucil wafers available to me-
