- The filter on this portable air conditioner helps keeps the air free of dust, debris, and contaminants, so it will get dirty. With easy access, the filter can be removed and washed to help keep your AC running at its highest level.

- Whirlpool's bucket-less design means that water collected during cooling is automatically evaporated. If you run the unit in dehumidify mode, a continuous drain hose attachment allows excess water to drain into a floor drain or sump pump, managing the excess humidity without extra attention.

- Rolling casters ship pre-attached to the unit, and easy-grip side handles are molded into the plastic for ease of movement from room to room. The included window kit and exhaust hose are also transferrable, so there's no need to purchase additional installation kits. The exhaust hose can be expanded to a max of 4.9 ft and is flexible to reach most windows.

- This portable unit can act as an air conditioner, heater, fan, or dehumidifier, depending on your needs. 3 fan speeds, 3 cooling speeds, heating mode, plus a 24-hour on/off programmable timer, means that this unit will cool on your schedule. Dehumidify mode removes up to 2.8 pints per hour.

A pleasure to use!
When guests come to stay in our guest bedroom, they've complained about it being a little too warm. Until now, we've just used a small window unit A/C, but it's a true pain in the back for us to lift that heavy thing, and install it into a window for them to use. So, we tried out this new floor unit A/C. It's WONDEREFUL, quiet running, and very easy to vent out a window (with it's lightweight flex hose) and it cools the room quickly! We're VERY pleased with it's performance and ease of use. Our backs no longer ache horribly from preparing the room for guests. LOVE IT!
