A Real Sony Battery -Not A Rip-off

Many sellers of this battery are not selling an original real "Sony" battery but a mock-up. It's nice to know that Walmart is selling original "Sony" batteries and at a very competitive price. The Sony battery comes with a one-year warranty. This battery gives me more than 4 hours of power and charges very quickly even when using the camcorder as the charger. It is larger than the battery that came with the camera but it is not intrusive. I now use the battery that came with the camera as a back-up.

BEWARE OF CHEAP KNOCKOFFS

I bought this battery to replace a cheap knockoff provided as part of a camera accessory package I purchased. This battery charges correctly on my info-lithium charger and holds its charge. The previous battery would never fully charge and lost its charge very quickly. It failed in service (at a critical point, I might add) at a very young age!

Make it the standard battery for the item.

The item should be the standard item that comes with the HandyCam from Sony. Who wants to film a show with a battery lasting an hour and a half long. The 2060mAh version lasted more than its required length: 389 min. compared to 375 min.
