once received my much anticipated air filter due to the high praises and reviews, I wasted no time installing it in my 2000 Toyota 4Runner. fit as expected and I cleaned up the housing prior to the install and clampping I took my 4Runner for a quick spin around the block and noticed an immediate difference in throttle and torque. it was like I had completed a total under the hood tune-up and with further testing like highway acceleration and there was instantaneous engine response. I couldn't believe such a simple item and simple product swap would make such a difference to my vehicle's performance and gas mileage, I shou have made this decision a long time ago. I shared my purchase decision with friends and family. Although the immediate cost is higher than one would anticipate in vehicle maintenance, the lifetime cost savings along with the performance return is truly a no brainer. I couldn't recommend this amazing engine filter enough. Anyone looking for an investment that gives immediate return, this is it

Been using K&N for years without issue!

I recently bought a 2002 Tacoma Prerunner 2.7 and wanted to make sure it was mechanically sound and lasted years to come. After replacing all gaskets and doing some engine work I threw a K&N filter in it as I have them on all of my trucks. Data logging my MAF in g/sec it did improve flow at idle and under load. It's also nice knowing you won't have to buy another filter ever and the efficiency of an oiled filter is unmatched! As far as ppl talking about issues with the MAF, when oiled filters sit for time oil can accumulate and cause excessive oil in certain areas. It's your responsibility to first understand what you are putting in your vehicle and lastly wipe it down a little before installation to verify. Or get a filter that is not oiled… Never had an issue with MAF or any other system due to their products. Performance is usually percentage based so you will get more gains out of a 500hp motor than my little 160hp 2.7…

I noticed a definite improvement in the Toyota Previa's performance when climbing long grades on the highway at altitude (around 8,000 feet and higher). It was encouraging and the supercharged V-4 engine seemed to be operating at its potential. I guess that's what freer breathing will do for you!
