Genuine Whirlpool D7824706Q Ice Maker

Great complete replacement for the ice maker on my Whirlpool refer. I have replaced various parts over the last 5-8 years but recently the teflon surface on the mold got corroded and caused the ice to stick which burned out the motor. Decided to purchase this complete unit. Be advised however that the plastic output fingers over the mold and the plastic bottom shroud on the new tray are different than mine. I had the replace those with the ones from my old ice maker. But everything fit together perfectly. The model number matched my old ice maker but this new one must be a later incarnation. Everything works fine however with some of the old plastic shrouds exchanged. If you need a replacement ice maker, buy this one and laugh at all the people who paid 2 times as much as you did, seriously. I'll be the first to admit, I do not think of Walmart when I think of Appliance replacement parts, but I will now based on this ice maker
