Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242 is particularly suited for applications on less active substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces, where disassembly is required for servicing. Thos is about another order, a plant that has been delayed and now arrives at 10 pm. 10pm? Who delivers at 10 pm? Walmart closes at 8 pm, UPS, FedEx have gone home ON SUNDAY LONG BEFORE THAT. When you need to lock a fastener, Loctite is the only way to go. The knock-offs may be cheaper, but cheaper is not better. Especially if you need a removable thread locker, trust the brand that pioneered the technology to hold things tight while still allowing removal later.

great for it's application
I use it for all my fasteners I don't plan on taking off but there's a teensy weensy chance those plans change. So blue loctite is great for that application. Red loctite will make it nearly impossible to remove, and purple loctite is not as strong as blue. for you loctite newbies out there.
