The Danco HydroSeat Toilet FlangeRepair Kit, Plastic (10672X) is actually constructed of black powder coated metal (not plastic) with built-in toilet bolts and a blue rubber downspout which inserts into the sewer line. This is a great fix for old deteriorated or broken closet flanges. It can even be used to level out or raise irregular uneven below floor level flange situations. It screws (wood screws included) to the substrate floor with four built in anchor feet. If you have tile, concrete, or missing substrate you'll need to anchor it differently or replace the missing substrate. You still need to use a wax ring with this item and fora complete waterproof seal I recommend a thin wax or other waterproof sealant between the black metal toilet flange and the blue rubber downspout in addition to yor desired thickness wax ring atop the HydroSeat' blue rubber downspout.
