Store at room temperature with bottle tightly closed.The recommended initial period is four to six weeks; however, some dogs may respond sooner. The number of Cosequin® DS capsules may then be reduced to the maintenance level. The capsules can be pulled apart and the contents sprinkled on the pet’s food. Wet or moist food is preferred to ensure that the pet gets the entire amount.Number of Capsules:Weight: Initial 4-6 MaintenanceWeeks: Level*.10-24‡ 1 daily ½ daily.25-49 2 daily 1 daily.50-100 3 daily 1-2daily.Over 100 4 daily 2 daily.‡ Under 10 lbs, ½ daily.*Once consistent response has been seen these maintenance levels may be reduced to every other day. The maintenance level can also be used long-term on healthy dogs to help support their joints.

Great joint support!
I started giving my German Shepherd Cosequin Double Strength Chewable Tablets when he turned three to help support his joints and promote comfort as he got older. The chewable tablets are a big plus.
